Elevation Chart

Hiking trail in the Cholomon forest.

It starts from Apolymeni Petra and ends at the Agios Panteleimon Dam where the swimming demonstration will take place. It passes by the chapel of Agios Panteleimon.
Total distance 4.3km. Estimated duration for an average walker 45 minutes.
The route is mainly downhill and for the most part on dirt forest roads. Just a 200m long section is on a path.

There are 2 points of technical difficulty:
• An uphill climb with a total length of 170m and a steep incline
• 2 downhill points with a steep incline.
Hikers should be equipped with hiking shoes and be in good physical condition.
The group will be accompanied by guides who are members of local running and walking clubs.

After the demonstration is finished, the return trip from the Dam to Apolymeni Petra will be by bus.
